Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a dedicated team of five within the Cash Accounting Department, creating an encouraging and cooperative atmosphere.
• Supervise daily revenue postings to guarantee accuracy and promptness.
• Oversee cash flow management aligned with sales and traffic, ensuring secure handling and appropriate denominations for change.
• Manage credit card operations, including account management, settlements, chargebacks, and disputes.
• Collaborate with sales teams to provide precise documentation and timely accounting entries.
• Recruit, train, and assess Cash Accounting personnel, conducting regular performance evaluations.
• Investigate cash shortages, cooperating closely with leadership for resolution.
• Deliver cash-handling certification training and enforce safety protocols.
• Maintain vault and change machine functions, ensuring adequate money supplies and upkeep.
• Implement and uphold cash accounting policies while fostering collaboration within the Finance team.
• Act as the PCI Compliance Liaison to protect guest financial information.
• Conduct audits, prepare comprehensive reports, and oversee vending collections.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
