Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Ensure successful project execution by adhering to established Project Management protocols.
- Formulate project scopes of services, engage in fee negotiations, and guarantee the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
- Lead project tasks, manage teams, and ensure adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with clients to explore additional service avenues and oversee fee structures.
- Uphold client satisfaction by consistently meeting or surpassing expectations and proactively addressing concerns.
- Partner with the Project Accountant for precise and timely invoicing, aiding in collections as necessary.
- Serve as the Engineer of Record for designated projects.
- Develop innovative, secure, and effective engineering solutions that meet client demands.
- Implement the Quality Control Plan to assure superior deliverables.
- Manage work plans, schedules, and budgets for production teams.
- Support the preparation of scopes and budgets for new task orders or amendments.
- Direct design teams in aviation airside/landside projects utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D to generate plans.
- Ensure adherence to applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and assistance to the design staff throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster strong relationships with existing and past clients to maintain positive engagement.
- Proactively seek business development opportunities through client outreach and marketing initiatives.
- Participate in industry events and contribute to social media and internal communications to enhance the company’s brand.
- Lead or assist in business development efforts, including strategy formulation, technical write-ups, and participation in presentations and interviews.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Proficient in developing innovative engineering solutions.
- Skilled in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
- Knowledgeable in FAA and TSA regulations and AIP funding requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on client relationship management.
- Familiarity with airport airside, landside, and infrastructure projects.
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in civil aviation project management.
- Proven experience managing projects of varying sizes and complexities while coordinating multiple disciplines.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification is required.
