As a Senior Controller in our Client Accounting & Advisory Services division, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional outsourced controllership and advisory services to a diverse clientele. You will empower entrepreneurs by alleviating their financial management burdens and offering actionable solutions that drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the accounting team assigned to various clients, inspiring them to deliver outstanding service.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of each client's distinct business and accounting requirements, providing strategic leadership in scaling their accounting operations.
- Oversee the month-end closing process and ensure timely delivery of financial reports to all clients.
- Collaborate with client leadership on operational and strategic initiatives to enhance performance.
- Manage financial planning and budgeting, including the development of annual budgets and cash forecasting tools.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide real-time insights and actionable recommendations.
- Facilitate regular client communications to discuss strategy, operational changes, and financial health.
- Assist in the preparation of tax information for external filing and coordinate information for audits.
- Active CPA, CMA, or MBA with a robust understanding of accounting and financial analysis for businesses ranging from \(5M to \)50M.
- Over 10 years of leadership experience with a strong proficiency in NetSuite.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage accounting functions for small to medium-sized businesses.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to multitask effectively.
- High computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA license, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
