Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough intake assessments and facilitate child/family team (CFT) meetings.
- Provide both individual and group therapy to assist clients in managing dependencies, life transitions, and personal obstacles.
- Implement strengths-based, solution-focused interventions to empower clients.
- Create and execute comprehensive treatment plans, while connecting clients and families with additional support resources, including aftercare and transition strategies.
- Maintain necessary documentation and reports while adhering to compliance requirements.
- Encourage open dialogue with clients to help them navigate their emotional landscapes and gain insights into their challenges.
- Gather pertinent client information through interviews, observations, and assessments to inform treatment planning.
- Ensure accurate mental health record-keeping in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Serve as an advocate for clients, coordinating essential services and addressing crises as they occur.
- Profound understanding of human behavior, mental health, and performance, along with familiarity with psychological research methodologies.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and supporting individuals dealing with mental and behavioral health issues.
- Awareness of group dynamics, societal influences, and cultural considerations.
- Strong technical skills in Telehealth technology and virtual therapy practices.
- A Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field; a Ph.D. is preferred.
- Valid licensure by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
- Experience working with a diverse population including children, teens, adults, couples, and families facing various emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical services in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with Telehealth platforms and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is advantageous.
