Key Responsibilities
- Foster and sustain strong investment relationships with members through proactive communication, follow-up on leads, and support during the account setup process.
- Deliver bespoke financial planning and investment strategies aligned with members’ unique objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of financial scenarios—including savings, investments, insurance, taxes, retirement, and estate planning—to provide holistic financial advice.
- Oversee and evaluate the performance of investment portfolios, offering strategic recommendations to maximize financial growth.
- Engage with the community by participating in events, fire stations, and union meetings to establish connections with potential members.
- Educate members on various investment options and supplementary financial services available to them.
- Remain informed about industry regulations and ensure adherence to FINRA and SEC compliance standards.
- Proficiency in financial planning and investment strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competence in evaluating comprehensive financial situations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to craft customized financial solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Active Series 7, 63, and 65 or 66 licenses (must be bondable through CUSO Financial Services, LP).
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the sales of investment and insurance products.
- Strong capability in preparing detailed financial strategies, including tax planning.
- Possess a valid state driver's license (occasional travel may be necessary for events and meetings).
