Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough financial analyses, examining revenues, expenses, cost forecasts, insurance data, and fiscal models.
- Prepare and review financial documentation, including CCBHC Cost Reports and budgets, in accordance with project specifications.
- Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance by aiding in the development of PPS models, monitoring discrepancies, pinpointing trends, and advising management on subsequent actions.
- Deliver clear and actionable financial insights to key stakeholders, which include both executive management and operational staff.
- A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 5-10 years of experience in fiscal management or administration, specifically with an emphasis on financial systems, management information, and controls.
- Robust knowledge of accounting and financial management practices, both theoretical and practical.
- Proven experience in auditing, billing compliance reviews, and trend analysis in outpatient treatment services and behavioral health clinics.
- Prior experience working with CCBHCs and a solid understanding of healthcare billing policies that affect revenue for behavioral health providers.
- Familiarity with the behavioral health provider ecosystem, including CCBHCs and FQHCs.
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with executive teams and staff to achieve project objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating financial analyses to diverse audiences, including senior management and non-financial stakeholders.
- A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in fiscal management or administration, with recent exposure to regulatory developments in the behavioral healthcare sector being essential.
