We are seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst II to join our Finance Analytics team in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal in enhancing financial operations within the healthcare sector. As a Financial Analyst II, you will leverage your expertise in financial analysis and data management to drive impactful decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the creation and finalization of Rate Development Template (RDT) reports.
• Generate standard and ad-hoc reports on healthcare utilization to aid leadership and strategic initiatives.
• Analyze and reconcile financial healthcare data sourced from operational systems.
• Utilize SQL for the development of analytical reports, interpreting results, and summarizing essential insights.
• Work closely with IT and Healthcare Informatics teams to define requirements and convert them into actionable insights.
• Conduct quality assurance and perform peer reviews on financial data reports to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Contribute to various departmental projects, including budget analyses and research on trends in healthcare utilization and variances.
  
  

Required Skills

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial or data analysis, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to comprehensively document database queries and macros.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
