Job Overview

We are actively seeking a meticulous and results-driven FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) and IR (Investor Relations) Analyst to become a vital part of our team. This remote role offers the opportunity to provide critical financial insights that drive strategic business decisions, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis, all aimed at supporting our long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

As an FP&A and IR Analyst, you will:

• Develop and manage intricate financial models that factor in gas prices, production volumes, transportation costs, and regulatory influences.
• Prepare and analyze regular forecasts, identifying variances between actual and budgeted performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to formulate annual budgets that align with the company's strategic vision.
• Assist in crafting multi-year forecasts and long-term financial strategies.
• Conduct thorough margin analyses for various projects and operational segments.
• Generate and present comprehensive financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for executive management.
• Provide leadership with crucial financial insights, trend analyses, and risk assessments.
• Evaluate natural gas price trends along with geopolitical and regulatory factors to gauge their effects on financial performance.
• Contribute to strategies that mitigate price volatility and leverage advantageous market conditions.
• Identify areas for enhancement and propose actionable financial solutions.
• Support strategic initiatives, investment evaluations, and business development strategies.
• Help in shaping the investor relations approach and communication strategies.
• Analyze financial and operational data for investor reports and respond to inquiries from analysts and investors.
• Coordinate investor communications, including calls, meetings, and events.
• Assist with earnings reports and other financial disclosures, along with any additional responsibilities as required.
  
  

Required Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

• Extensive experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably in the energy or commodities sectors.
• Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools (Oracle experience is a plus).
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance standards pertinent to investor relations.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or comparable roles, ideally within the natural gas or energy industries.

• Salary Range: \(74,000 to \)122,000
