Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards, ensuring precision by verifying transactions against statements.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of 10-20 client accounts, providing assistance with accounts payable/receivable, billing, and expense tracking.
- Support clients in payroll processing, tax filings, and sales tax collection.
- Maintain accurate financial recordkeeping through detailed spreadsheets and transaction logs.
- Generate and submit comprehensive daily reports to supervisors while accurately tracking time spent on each client.
- Diagnose issues in QuickBooks Online and resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Assist with additional financial tasks such as loans, budgeting, and other ad-hoc assignments as required.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (mandatory).
- 1-3 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably with small businesses.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational capabilities and effective time-management skills.
- Capacity to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal oversight.
- Strong confidentiality practices regarding both client and company information.
