Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat mental health disorders.
- Conduct therapy sessions with individuals, couples, families, and/or groups.
- Refer clients to appropriate specialists when necessary.
- Create tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress throughout the treatment process.
- Address various issues including substance abuse, aging, bullying, anger management, career challenges, depression, relationship concerns, LGBTQ issues, self-image, stress management, and suicidal ideation.
- Assist clients in defining personal goals and planning actionable steps to achieve them.
- Employ a holistic approach to mental health care that considers both mind and body.
- Full licensure as an LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT in Texas.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in psychotherapy is preferred.
- Proven ability to provide compassionate mental health support and effective therapeutic interventions.
- Strong understanding of various mental health concerns and treatment methodologies.
