Key Responsibilities
- Provide supervision to Associate Counselors.
- Deliver psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, families, and/or groups.
- Create tailored treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records for all clients.
- Ensure adherence to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of practice.
- Engage in regular communication with referral sources and other healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including art therapists, social workers, and medical professionals, to develop comprehensive treatment strategies.
- Remain updated on psychopharmacology and relevant medical documentation.
- Collect and evaluate data concerning treatment progress.
- Foster positive relationships through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work independently while embodying a collaborative team spirit.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
- Proficiency in providing psychotherapy to various client demographics.
- Capability to develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based modalities.
- Strong grasp of psychopharmacology and medical documentation.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse professional team.
- A Master's degree in Counseling or a related discipline.
- Active LPC licensure in New Jersey.
