Remote Non-QM Loan Specialist

Job Overview

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and skilled Non-QM Loan Specialist to become a vital part of our team. In this remote position, you will leverage your expertise in Non-QM loans to work collaboratively with our sales partners. You will meticulously evaluate loan requests and scenarios presented by brokers and Account Executives, delivering insightful recommendations to facilitate an efficient submission process.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted authority on Non-QM products, guidelines, and requirements.
• Assess income on bank statement loans and architect Non-QM scenarios to maximize underwriting approvals for brokers while providing optimal solutions for borrowers.
• Identify and recommend qualified loans for submission to our underwriting team, ensuring compliance with our established standards and adhering to expected turnaround times.
• Offer support and training to internal and external sales teams, effectively communicating the benefits, niches, and guidelines of our Non-QM products to enhance originations.
• Manage the pipeline and diverse scenarios with efficiency.
• Maintain constructive communication with all stakeholders regarding our products and services.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

• 3-5 years of experience within the mortgage sector, encompassing roles in sales, account management, and/or underwriting.
• Familiarity with collaboration among brokers, loan officers, processors, and operational teams.
• Proficient in analyzing, structuring, and documenting complex loan scenarios involving various borrower circumstances.
• A proactive stance towards identifying and developing business opportunities through training and fostering a positive lending experience.
• Exceptional capability to engage with diverse audiences and communicate effectively.
• Ability to adapt to evolving environments.
