Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research to guarantee compliance with state and federal payroll regulations
- Manage state payroll tax registrations while ensuring compliance across various states
- Oversee and execute policies related to garnishments and payroll advancements
- Process payroll adjustments diligently and maintain precise payroll records
- Prepare governmental reports and reconcile payroll data between integrated systems
- Perform variance analysis and resolve any discrepancies in payroll
- Assist with accruals and ensure accuracy when reconciling the sub-ledger to the general ledger
- Provide backup assistance to fellow payroll team members as required
- Utilize accounting software systems and ADP Workforce for effective payroll and benefits management
- Carry out payroll audits to confirm accuracy and compliance
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll analysis or a similar capacity
- Proficient in accounting software, with Oracle being preferred
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce is advantageous
- In-depth understanding of multi-state payroll tax regulations
- Exceptional auditing skills paired with keen attention to detail
- Strong analytical capabilities along with the ability to work autonomously
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
