Collaborating closely with both development and operational teams, you will ensure the successful implementation and continuous support of new system functionalities aligned with business objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in managing system infrastructure, addressing vulnerabilities, and driving improvements in our IAM processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a leading support engineer in the SailPoint IIQ (IdentityIQ) domain, offering technical guidance and expertise.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure support activities are in line with application designs and business requirements.
- Serve as the primary functional technical point of contact, fostering a robust engineering culture while effectively resolving production issues.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis to identify and address conflicts, translating high-level information into actionable work plans.
- Develop and implement rigorous application monitoring processes to ensure optimal system performance and 24⁄7 alerting.
- Assist technical team members with system-related deliverables, such as test plans and monitoring efforts.
- Work closely with internal infrastructure teams to manage incidents and alerts in accordance with established response protocols.
- Review and provide insights on technical documentation, including Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs) related to IAM functions.
- Advocate for adjustments to technical requirements to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization.
- Support the enhancement of IAM processes, including access reviews for joiners, movers, and leavers, as well as management of Privileged Access Management.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Identity Management (IDM), demonstrating a solid grasp of contemporary IDM concepts and best practices.
- At least 4 years of experience providing support for SailPoint applications in high-availability settings.
- Extensive knowledge of identity data flows, security roles, certification and attestation processes, entitlement management, Segregation of Duties (SOD), and access governance within SailPoint IIQ.
- Familiarity with integrating SailPoint IIQ with technologies such as ServiceNow, SAP, Azure AD, Office 365, RACF, and LDAP directories.
- Practical experience in database administration and support (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL).
- Experience working with various APIs, including SCIM, REST, and SOAP.
- Proficiency in programming and web technologies, including Java/BeanShell, JavaScript, SPML/SOAP, and JSF.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to communicate issues and features clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while promoting strong collaboration within cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
