Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Vice President of Silicon Operations to spearhead the supply chain management for our silicon product portfolio, which includes Endpoint and Reader ICs. This pivotal role will encompass oversight of the entire production lifecycle—from wafer acquisition and post-processing to the distribution of finished goods. You will be charged with ensuring product quality, managing inventory levels, and controlling costs, all while striving for operational excellence as we expand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume full responsibility for the entire supply chain of silicon products.
  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive 5-year supply chain strategy.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product Management to accurately forecast future demand across various timeframes.
  • Synchronize wafer supply strategies with overarching financial and operational objectives.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with contract manufacturers for efficient conversion of wafers into final products.
  • Uphold stringent quality standards, superior customer service, and social responsibility initiatives while achieving financial targets.
  • Direct sourcing strategies and oversee contracts, negotiations, and partnerships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics entities worldwide.
  • Supervise manufacturing and logistics operations to ensure streamlined processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in critical performance metrics associated with the supply chain.
  • Oversee both capital and operational budgets to guarantee supply chain success.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team to meet our rapid growth trajectory.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in supply chain management, including 5-7 years in leadership roles within global organizations.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 standards or experience in regulated sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in supplier management, cost efficiency, and timely delivery alongside sustainability practices.
  • Proficient in negotiating complex, multi-year contracts with manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, focused on scaling teams and processes to adapt to increasing demand.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in supply chain management.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in managerial roles within international companies.

  • Base salary range: \(190,000 - \)305,000 (dependent on experience, skills, and role requirements).
