Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to oversee the daily accounting operations across multiple hotel properties. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately record monthly and quarterly transactions by posting journal entries.
• Reconcile various bank accounts and perform monthly reconciliations.
• Manage and reconcile credit card accounts effectively.
• Assist in the monthly financial closing process and prepare financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial work papers.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Uphold adherence to company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Collaborate proactively to meet departmental and organizational objectives.
• Foster effective communication with colleagues and team members.
• Adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines with agility.
• Review work for accuracy and completeness, ensuring appropriate approvals are in place.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, particularly in the hospitality sector.
• Familiarity with Marriott Lightspeed Systems is preferred.
