JOB OVERVIEW :
The Corporate Senior Accountant is able to perform all aspects of portfolio cash transactions including debt service and stock transactions for a REIT portfolio.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Daily
- Update and maintain all cash transactions into the REIT cash book
- Set-up and maintain wire templates in the applicable online banking system.
- Set-up and maintain waterfall journal entries templates
- Assist in determining the need for cash draws or availability of cash to invest, and coordinate with supervisor to send request to the bank. Record this cash transaction with a journal entry into the MRI system.
- Prepare various wires as needed
