Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee financial due diligence engagements for buy-side and sell-side transactions.
- Cultivate robust relationships with clients, engaging directly with executives and stakeholders.
- Perform thorough financial statement analyses, quality of earnings reviews, and working capital evaluations.
- Identify crucial financial trends, risks, and value drivers that influence transaction structures and pricing.
- Clearly articulate findings and strategic recommendations to clients through both verbal and written communication.
- Manage multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Engage in business development initiatives, including client presentations and market analysis.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, financial analysis, and data analytics.
- Proven ability to build strong client relationships and interact with executive-level stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in conducting extensive financial statement assessments and working capital analyses.
- Leadership experience in managing numerous projects and mentoring team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (Accounting preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years focusing on financial due diligence.
- A background in audit, financial reporting, or CFO roles is highly favored.
- Experience within a Big 4, national, or large regional CPA firm is advantageous.
- CPA or CFA certification (or in progress) is strongly preferred.
- Previous exposure to working with private equity clients is desirable.
- Willingness to travel as necessary (estimated at under 15%).
