Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee client deliverables related to the NAV process, including financial statements, investor reports, capital call notices, distribution notices, and additional reporting as required.
- Guide, train, and review the work of Analysts, Associates, and Senior Associates dedicated to assigned funds.
- Identify and implement process enhancements to optimize efficiency and service quality.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and proactively communicate potential risks.
- Review and accurately calculate intricate management fees, incentive fees, capital calls, and allocations.
- Engage directly with clients through regular communication and ad-hoc discussions as needed.
- Collaborate with the Client Service team to meet deadlines and align with client expectations.
- Partner with Financial Control, Client Service, Implementation, and Technology teams to streamline operations and improve internal processes.
- Recruit, train, and develop a talented team of accounting and financial reporting professionals.
- Act as the primary contact for fund-client auditors and manage audit interactions.
- Conduct thorough reviews of financial statements, encompassing cash flow, fair value, and financial highlights.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Proactive and client-focused approach accompanied by excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational capabilities with the aptitude to prioritize and handle multiple deadlines.
- Experience in fund administration, private equity, credit, or real estate funds is advantageous.
- CPA certification or eligibility is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related business discipline.
- A minimum of 6 years of accounting experience, ideally within financial services, although exceptional candidates from other sectors will be considered.
