Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients on an ongoing basis.
- Provide crisis intervention and coordinate psychiatric and medical services as needed.
- Facilitate various clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy, while managing scheduling and therapeutic program organization.
- Participate in pre-admission screening to evaluate the appropriateness of potential clients.
- Regularly review and update treatment plans for all active clients.
- Deliver therapeutic case management services, ensuring continuous client support.
- Engage actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, conferences, and staff training sessions.
- Assist clients in connecting with internal and external resources that support recovery.
- Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans with a focus on ongoing progress.
- Execute quality assurance tasks to ensure care aligns with established standards.
- Act as a liaison with external organizations to enhance client success.
- Participate in professional development activities organized by program leadership.
- Extensive knowledge of dual diagnosis counseling, family therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
- Proficiency in conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions with empathy and interpersonal skill.
- Competence in developing and interpreting treatment plans and documenting clinical services accurately.
- A respectful and compassionate approach to working with diverse populations and psychological profiles.
- Familiarity with pharmacological principles, medical terminology, and public health education.
- Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Licensing: Current licensure as an LMSW, LCPC, LCSW-C, LGPC, or LPC, with all credentials up to date and accessible.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in counseling within mental health or chemical dependence treatment settings, showcasing expertise in individual and group therapy, addiction therapies, and community resources.
