Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate training for new clients on accurate specimen collection protocols.
- Ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance by reviewing and processing sample requisitions.
- Collaborate with leadership to maintain compliance with internal and external standards.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new marketers, setting clear expectations for test requirements.
- Conduct audits and validate documentation to meet regulatory benchmarks.
- Maintain precise records within the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
- Address and resolve issues related to documentation and specimen validation in partnership with the team.
- Assist in the procurement and processing of supplies for clients.
- Support pre-analytics and accessioning tasks by verifying data accuracy.
- Proven experience as a medical assistant, with a robust grasp of medical terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with various computer-based systems.
- Understanding of laboratory procedures, specimen collection methods, and medical necessity criteria.
- Exceptional communication abilities for effective interaction with clients, patients, and healthcare professionals.
- Keen attention to detail for auditing and reviewing clinical data, as well as resolving discrepancies.
- Strong organizational skills for managing onboarding, compliance, and workflow coordination.
- Prior experience as a medical assistant or in a comparable role is essential.
- Certification as a medical assistant is preferred but not mandatory.
