As a Clinical Therapist, you will engage in vital responsibilities that contribute to the long-term recovery and holistic well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments, as well as thorough evaluations, to inform treatment planning.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Provide therapeutic services, including individual, couple, family, and group therapy, addressing a wide range of challenges such as DSM/ICD-related diagnoses, stress management, self-esteem, and more.
- Collaborate with clients’ treatment teams, families, and relevant community organizations to ensure a seamless and effective care continuum.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and compliant documentation of service provision, client interactions, and progress.
- Participate in educational meetings and training sessions aimed at enhancing knowledge in mental health and substance use treatment.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficacy and efficiency of our behavioral healthcare services.
- Strong assessment and evaluation capabilities.
- Expertise in developing customized treatment plans.
- Experience providing various therapeutic modalities to clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary treatment teams and external agencies.
- Proficiency in maintaining thorough documentation as per compliance requirements.
- Commitment to quality improvement in behavioral health services.
- Master's degree in Human Services or a related discipline.
- A minimum of two years of experience in substance use treatment or a closely related field.
- Background in psychology with at least one year of counseling experience is preferred.
- Valid licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Pennsylvania.
