Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, comprehensive evaluations, and develop treatment plans for clients.
- Provide individual, marital, couples, family, and group therapy addressing a wide array of concerns, including DSM/ICD diagnoses, stress management, self-esteem, aging, bullying, domestic violence, HIV, and gender orientation.
- Collaborate effectively with clients' treatment teams, family members, and various community agencies to ensure holistic care and coordinated services.
- Maintain precise and current documentation of client interactions, progress, and services delivered, adhering to state and organizational guidelines.
- Participate in educational meetings and training sessions focused on substance abuse and mental health treatment.
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall effectiveness of our Behavioral Healthcare Services.
- Demonstrated compassion and empathy in client interactions.
- Strong assessment and evaluation capabilities.
- Proficient in delivering therapy in various formats, including individual, marital, couples, family, and group settings.
- Knowledgeable about DSM/ICD diagnoses and diverse treatment methodologies.
- Excellent collaboration skills with treatment teams and community organizations.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Master's degree in Human Services or a related discipline.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the substance abuse or related sector; experience in psychology and counseling is preferred.
- Active license to practice in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Local candidates are preferred.
