Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated, adaptable, and professional full-time Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our vibrant and collaborative therapy group. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while being associated with our Lincoln Park and Lakeview offices. We are looking for a dedicated therapist who is passionate about fostering long-term therapeutic relationships and empowering clients to achieve transformative change in their lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual psychotherapy in a supportive and professional environment.
  • Maintain current treatment plans and complete electronic documentation accurately.
  • Formulate DSM-5 diagnoses in alignment with best practices.
  • Schedule and manage ongoing therapy sessions with clients.
  • Address client emergencies with the support of the clinical team as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and family members, as required.
  • Uphold a clean and welcoming office space for clients.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on industry best practices.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional communication skills and a willingness to collaborate.
  • Ability to work with a diverse clientele, encompassing individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and identities.
  • Experience in conducting one-on-one traditional therapy sessions and utilizing clinical interventions is essential.
  • Strong organizational and professional skills, with a reliable and detailed-oriented approach.

Qualifications

  • Current or license-eligible as LSW, LPC, or similar in the State of Illinois.
  • Availability to work a combination of daytime and evening shifts.
  • Previous private practice experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in technology, including Google Docs and TherapyNotes.

Compensation And Benefits

  • A consistent flow of referrals to help establish and grow your caseload, with potential for full-time status within two months, depending on availability.
