Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapeutic services to individuals and families in both medical and community environments
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' psycho-social requirements
- Develop and execute individualized care plans tailored to patient objectives
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery
- Guide patients and families in accessing community resources and support services
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families
- Advocate for optimal patient care across diverse circumstances
- Maintain precise documentation of patient interactions and progress
- Mentor and supervise limited license social workers, offering guidance and feedback
- Proficiency in various therapeutic specialties, including, but not limited to:
- Substance Abuse
- Marriage and Family Therapy
- Group Therapy
- Trauma-Informed Therapy
- LGBTQ Support
- Child Therapy, including Autism
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication capabilities
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality mental health care and making a positive impact
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline
- Preferred therapy license (LCSW, LPC, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with medical coding, research, and documentation practices is advantageous
- Licensed to practice in Michigan
