Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Clinical Supervisor and team members on administrative and programmatic tasks.
- Conduct thorough IM CANS assessments of mental health concerns, formulate treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic services, including individual, group, family, and marital therapy for clients of all ages.
- Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, alongside community education, case management, and support for various programs.
- Contribute to the development and review of program policies and offer guidance to practicum students.
- Complete clinical documentation promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with agency standards, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Engage in peer review and program evaluations to enhance the quality of care provided.
- Commit to continuous improvement of clinical skills and knowledge through ongoing professional development.
- Participate in staff meetings, program planning sessions, supervision, and other relevant agency activities.
- Maintain licensure requirements and adhere to ethical guidelines within the profession.
- Illinois State License in Professional Counseling or Social Work.
- Experience managing an adult/child caseload or relevant experience in a community mental health setting.
- Proficiency in delivering telehealth therapy to a diverse clientele.
- Competence in troubleshooting technical issues independently or with IT support.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work remotely, ensuring a reliable internet connection and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in counseling and case management within a community mental health setting.
