Job Overview

We are actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic part-time Remote Therapist to join our esteemed team of mental health professionals. In this impactful role, you will provide vital mental health services to clients within Monroe County, IL. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Clinical Supervisor and team members on administrative and programmatic tasks.
• Conduct thorough IM CANS assessments of mental health concerns, formulate treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic services, including individual, group, family, and marital therapy for clients of all ages.
• Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, alongside community education, case management, and support for various programs.
• Contribute to the development and review of program policies and offer guidance to practicum students.
• Complete clinical documentation promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with agency standards, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Engage in peer review and program evaluations to enhance the quality of care provided.
• Commit to continuous improvement of clinical skills and knowledge through ongoing professional development.
• Participate in staff meetings, program planning sessions, supervision, and other relevant agency activities.
• Maintain licensure requirements and adhere to ethical guidelines within the profession.
  
  

Required Skills

• Illinois State License in Professional Counseling or Social Work.
• Experience managing an adult/child caseload or relevant experience in a community mental health setting.
• Proficiency in delivering telehealth therapy to a diverse clientele.
• Competence in troubleshooting technical issues independently or with IT support.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work remotely, ensuring a reliable internet connection and maintaining patient confidentiality.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in counseling and case management within a community mental health setting.
