Key Responsibilities
- Provide Virtual Therapy: Conduct individual and/or family therapy sessions using secure telehealth platforms, ensuring a supportive and professional atmosphere for clients.
- Assess & Develop Treatment Plans: Analyze clients’ mental health needs and formulate personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that promote their overall well-being.
- Foster Client Engagement: Cultivate strong therapeutic relationships while upholding professional boundaries and adhering to ethical standards.
- Maintain Accurate Documentation: Prepare treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation in a timely and compliant manner.
- Coordinate Care: Collaborate with fellow healthcare providers, community organizations, and resources to guarantee clients receive comprehensive support.
- Stay Informed & Continue Learning: Remain updated on industry best practices, participate in relevant training, and engage in supervision sessions as necessary.
- Meet Licensing & Credentialing Requirements: Complete all necessary paperwork for licensing and credentialing in Louisiana within 30-45 days of accepting the position.
- Adhere to Compliance Standards: Follow all legal, ethical, and professional guidelines to ensure confidentiality, privacy, and the highest standards of care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster meaningful therapeutic connections via telehealth.
- Proficient in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic documentation systems.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a remote team environment.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related discipline.
- Valid LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license in the state of Louisiana.
- Experience working with diverse client populations, including children and adolescents.
