The anticipated salary range for this role is between \(42,661.58 and \)75,065.24. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and departmental budgets. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable career services that adhere to best practices.
- Engage with students through various communication channels, including phone, email, and video, to address their career-related needs.
- Facilitate individual meetings with students to guide them in career exploration, job searching, resume crafting, cover letter writing, and interview preparation.
- Create and update content for career services resources and web pages.
- Cultivate relationships with employers and oversee job postings.
- Track and maintain metrics to evaluate both individual and departmental success, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Organize and execute workshops and informational sessions.
- Represent the department on various committees, working groups, and events as required.
- Collaborate with other Career Planning and Development team members on projects as necessary.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Manager of Academic Success - Career Planning and Development.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with students on an individual basis.
- Proven ability to collaborate with academic faculty and leadership.
- Knowledge of career services tools, strategies, and resources.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- A Master's degree accompanied by a minimum of one year of career services experience.
- Experience working with non-traditional students pursuing master's and doctoral degrees is preferred.
- Proficient in research, problem-solving, and both oral and written communication.
- Willingness to travel as required by business needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with online networking, website management, career services software, and online learning environments is advantageous.
