Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and attentive care to residents, assisting them with personal hygiene and daily activities.
- Foster independence among residents while providing essential support and companionship.
- Safely transport, transfer, and supervise residents as needed, ensuring their comfort and security.
- Maintain a tidy and organized living space for residents.
- Respond promptly to call lights to address residents’ needs.
- Accurately document care provided using electronic medical records.
- Report any changes in residents’ conditions in a timely manner.
- Uphold the rights and safety of residents at all times.
- Comply with facility policies and instructions from supervisory staff.
- Attend mandatory in-service training and team meetings.
- Current Connecticut Certified Nurse Aide certification.
- Strong ability to establish rapport with residents and their families.
- Empathetic and caring approach to patient care.
- Excellent teamwork skills, contributing positively to a collaborative environment.
- Valid Connecticut Certified Nurse Aide certification is required.
- Previous experience providing direct care to seniors is preferred but not mandatory.
