Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate care and assist residents with their daily living activities, fostering independence.
- Aid residents with personal hygiene and support their overall well-being.
- Transport, transfer, escort, supervise, and assist residents as necessary.
- Ensure a clean and organized environment for residents, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Respond promptly to resident call lights, addressing their needs efficiently.
- Record care provided through electronic medical records accurately.
- Report and document any changes in residents’ conditions promptly.
- Uphold resident safety and rights, abiding by all policies and regulations.
- Participate in in-service training, educational seminars, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Current CT Certified Nurse Aide certification.
- Ability to develop rapport with residents effectively.
- Compassionate and caring attitude.
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate successfully with peers.
- Valid CT Certified Nurse Aide certification is essential.
- Previous experience as a CNA is preferred but not mandatory.
