Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of the Learning Center's facilities, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and organizing spaces.
- Ensure that all rooms are cleaned and inspected according to established standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of garbage and recycling containers across the campus.
- Keep supply closets well-organized, clean, and stocked.
- Report any housekeeping issues or hazards to your supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to infection-control policies and conduct pest control measures as trained.
- Oversee cleaning tasks in staff housing as assigned and participate in deep cleaning projects as needed.
- Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry for participant lodges and accommodations as required.
- Assist with routine groundskeeping tasks, such as weed removal and snow clearance from pathways, as directed.
- Clean Institute vehicles as assigned and respond to requests and feedback with professionalism.
- Attend staff meetings and training programs as required by the Operations Manager.
- Utilize a computer to manage email, inventory tools, and timecards.
- General housekeeping experience or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high performance standards.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Familiarity with safe work practices and risk management protocols.
- Experience with cleaning chemicals and adherence to safety standards.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including longer days and weekends.
- Reliable transportation to and from work is essential.
- Previous housekeeping experience in residential centers, camps, or similar environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of recycling, composting, and waste management practices is a plus.

Compensation And Benefits
- Pay Rate: \(18.00 - \)19.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
- Paid holidays - estimated 9 days between February 12 and December 15.
- Sick leave - approximately 8 hours per month.
- Vacation leave - 4 days (32 hours) for positions of 6 months or more.
- Service days - 2 days per year.
