Job Title: Corporate Procurement Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Corporate Procurement Manager to join our esteemed team. This role is crucial in overseeing procurement activities related to Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) and Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E) for various projects, including new hotel developments and renovations. As a pivotal liaison between the Vice President of Procurement, vendors, and internal teams, you will ensure the effective procurement, timely expediting, and seamless installation of essential items from project inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Procurement to outline project timelines, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Generate and manage purchase orders for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with project scope, schedules, and financial parameters.
  • Maintain oversight of order acknowledgments to confirm accuracy and facilitate prompt approvals.
  • Review and monitor status reports from receiving warehouses, updating procurement software with expediting information.
  • Liaise with project teams to address challenges related to product availability and modifications.
  • Ensure that all FF&E and OS&E products meet established quality, durability, and design standards.
  • Organize and maintain comprehensive budget spreadsheets and cost comparisons for effective project tracking.
  • Manage document storage, ensuring accessibility of specification documents and quotations.
  • Coordinate and schedule deliveries and installations with vendors and warehouses.
  • Assist the accounting team with financial processes related to monthly draw requests and timely invoice payments.
  • Develop and nurture strong vendor relationships, acting as a key point of contact for supplier-related matters.
  • Conduct post-project documentation management, including specifications and certifications, to ensure thorough project closeout.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with project management software.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills to facilitate budget management and cost comparisons.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills paired with the self-motivation required for independent project work.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years of experience in hospitality procurement is essential.
  • Exposure to general accounting principles, including accounts receivable and accounts payable, is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with hospitality logistics and managing time-sensitive projects will be beneficial.
