Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of National Accounts for the Retail and Hospitality sectors to lead our strategic initiatives in expanding our customer base. This pivotal leadership role is designed for an innovative thinker with extensive experience in B2B sales, particularly within complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Steer and mentor a high-performing team of National Account Sellers to meet and exceed revenue objectives.
  • Recruit, develop, and empower top-tier sales talent, nurturing a culture focused on achievement and professional growth.
  • Strategize and implement a comprehensive sales approach tailored for the hospitality and retail sectors.
  • Own and manage an annual revenue target, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Analyze sales metrics to refine strategies and boost performance.
  • Collaborate closely with finance and operations departments to align with overarching business goals.
  • Utilize market insights and data to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Forge long-lasting relationships with C-suite executives and decision-makers in the hospitality and tourism industries.
  • Support the National Accounts team in generating proposals and negotiating contracts with prospects.
  • Maintain accountability for the sales process through CRM activities, ensuring systematic management of strategic account opportunities.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators pertinent to retail and hospitality sales.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Travel as needed to engage with potential partners and attend relevant trade expos.

Required Skills

  • A strong educational background with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Over 10 years of sales experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity within B2B contexts.
  • Proven ability to successfully achieve sales quotas in intricate sales settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in cultivating relationships with hospitality and tourism C-suite decision-makers.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by a data-informed decision-making approach.
  • Resourceful and innovative in tackling challenges, with a focus on building relationships and rapport.
  • A commitment to sustainability, aligned with our mission to convert ordinary tap water into the highest quality drinking water while mitigating plastic waste.

Compensation And Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary structure, with On Target Earnings (OTE) ranging from \(200K to \)250K annually, which includes base salary alongside an attractive commission plan. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan, partially paid parental leave, and generous Paid Time Off policies.
