Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing to manage the nursing department.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff, ensuring high standards of care.
- Oversee compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to resident needs.
- Manage staffing and scheduling to optimize team performance.
- Cultivate a positive and supportive workplace culture for staff and residents alike.
- Maintain effective communication with staff, residents, and families.
- Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to supervise and mentor nursing team members.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing healthcare.
- Previous experience in geriatric care is preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current, active, and unencumbered RN license in the State of Oregon.
- Current BLS CPR certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in nursing management and clinical leadership.
