Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site evaluations of residential and commercial properties to assess damage resulting from accidents or weather-related incidents.
- Engage with policyholders to communicate coverage details and support them through the claims process with compassion and professionalism.
- Collaborate with agents and key stakeholders to gather essential information and resolve claims in a timely manner.
- Provide exemplary customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns with promptness and professionalism.
- Document findings meticulously, compile evidence, and create comprehensive reports to enhance the claims management process.
- Investigate and adjust both personal and commercial property claims valued up to $500,000.
- Assess policy terms and coverage to establish claim validity and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits, upholding policy provisions and industry norms.
- Proven experience as a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist within the insurance sector, specifically focusing on property claims.
- In-depth knowledge of property insurance policies, coverage options, and claims handling processes.
- Familiarity with construction practices for both residential and commercial properties.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to manage sensitive conversations with empathy.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, coupled with acute attention to detail.
- Proficiency in claims management software and related tools.
- Physical capability to navigate various environments, including climbing ladders and accessing confined spaces.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience managing complex or high-value claims is highly desirable.
- Background in construction and water mitigation inspection experience is a plus.
