Our client, an 'A' rated leading Insurance Carrier, is seeking to add a Senior Inside Property Claims Specialist that would have the ability to work remotely. This person will be primarily responsible for handling a portfolio of homeowners' and commercial property claims. This role requires a deep understanding of claim handling processes from inception to resolution, managing claims of significant monetary values ranging from $150K to $2M. Losses include wind, fire, hail, vandalism, theft, and water damage claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and analyze a mix of residential and commercial property claims to determine the extent of the company's liability.

Average 30 - 40 new claims per month.

Negotiate and settle claims in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining high standards of customer service and retaining policyholder loyalty.
- Work closely with policyholders, contractors, and appraisers to assess damage and facilitate repairs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed claim documentation and adjust reserves as necessary to reflect changes in exposure.
- Utilize Xactimate software to estimate property damage and control claim costs.
- Handle claims in accordance with company guidelines, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience handling first-party homeowner and/or commercial property claims in a desk role with an insurance carrier.
- Proficiency in Xactimate is required.
- Experience with Guidewire claims management software is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with policyholders, peers, and management.
Salary & Benefits:
- $90,000 to $110,000 annual base salary plus bonus up to 15%
