Job Overview

Join our distinguished team as a Front Desk Assistant Manager, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for our guests embarking on their Glacier National Park adventure. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated Front Desk team while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee comprehensive Front Desk operations, including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Act as a role model for outstanding guest service, setting the standard for your team.
  • Ensure effective communication with all departments to facilitate smooth guest arrivals and departures.
  • Participate in weekly management meetings to stay aligned with team objectives.
  • Manage guest registration and room assignments while being knowledgeable about availability for walk-in guests.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping to monitor room readiness and update arrival and departure statuses.
  • Share information with guests regarding special events and activities available in and around the hotel.
  • Document potential safety and maintenance concerns and report them to your supervisor.
  • Assist in the setup of rooms for special events, meetings, conferences, and banquets when necessary.
  • Provide support to both guests and team members as required, demonstrating versatility in your role.

Required Skills

  • A degree in Hotel Management or 2-3 years of relevant management experience is essential.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in hotel front desk operations is a must.
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and guest satisfaction.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Dedication to maintaining high safety standards and cleanliness.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and a meticulous eye for detail.
  • A friendly disposition with a readiness to go above and beyond for others.

Qualifications
