Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the comprehensive Accounts Payable process, from verification and coding to payment execution and meticulous tracking.
- Manage and assist with credit card transactions, employee expense reports, and statement reconciliations.
- Prepare and print accounts payable reports, ensuring precise reconciliation of cash and disbursement accounts.
- Issue, confirm, and receive production and project purchase orders while supporting raw material purchase orders, receiving, inventory adjustments, and month-end cost reconciliation.
- Respond to vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoices, expenses, and payments with professionalism and promptness.
- Contribute to upcoming software implementations and other assigned projects.
- Administer bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accurate preparation, documentation, distribution, and reconciliation.
- Verify timesheet accuracy and effectively resolve any payroll discrepancies.
- Generate and disseminate various payroll reports from the HRIS system.
- Perform general clerical duties, including maintaining organized accounting department files and records.
- Provide front desk coverage as needed, assisting visitors and answering phones.
- Engage in special accounting projects as required.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office products; familiarity with NetSuite is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles, with accurate 10-key skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team framework.
- Strong numeracy and reconciliation skills, underscoring a commitment to detail and accuracy.
- Associate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior bookkeeping experience is a plus.
- Experience within the construction or manufacturing sectors is beneficial.
