Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with organizational objectives, driving revenue growth and enhancing market presence.
  • Identify and pursue potential clients, generate leads, and transform opportunities into successful partnerships to ensure sustained sales expansion.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, showcasing exceptional performance that supports the overall success of the organization.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of our products and services, effectively articulating their unique selling propositions and value to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts skillfully to secure advantageous agreements for both parties.
  • Cultivate and nurture robust relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster business growth.
  • Act as the primary liaison for strategic accounts, ensuring exemplary engagement and service.
  • Engage proactively with customers through preferred communication channels (email, phone, text, etc.) to build trust and rapport.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities, using this knowledge to refine strategy and seize new opportunities.
  • Conduct outreach activities, including surveys to understand client needs and preferences, as well as campaigns targeting agencies to boost market share and sales.
  • Act as a creative influencer on social media to engage both new and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure the seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Assist in coordinating events such as tradeshows and familiarization trips, with travel requirements of up to 30% of the time (including overnight and weekends).
  • Provide comprehensive sales reports to management, highlighting performance trends, market insights, and growth opportunities.
  • Commit to professional development by staying abreast of industry best practices and continuously seeking skill enhancement.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Salesforce, Tableau, PowerPoint, Excel, and other critical tools to support performance excellence.

Required Skills

  • Proven expertise in developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Exceptional relationship-building capabilities and client engagement experience.
  • Familiarity with the travel industry.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Tableau, PowerPoint, Excel, and related tools.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in business development or sales within the travel industry.
  • A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
