Position Overview
We are actively seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Project Manager to be part of our Loveland, CO office. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dedicated team of designers and support personnel to actualize our clients’ visions. This multifaceted position integrates the responsibilities of a Client Liaison, Civil Designer, and Team Leader, emphasizing the empowerment of our Project Managers through robust support and flexibility in project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director on marketing initiatives and client development for the division.
- Define design criteria and oversee the meticulous preparation of designs and plans.
- Address design challenges by utilizing engineering calculations and adhering to established design standards.
- Establish project controls to ensure accuracy and quality in all plans.
- Guarantee technical integrity, profitability, adherence to schedules, staff coordination, and effective communication with clients.
- Facilitate plan processing efforts with public agencies.
- Engage with clients daily to develop proposals, negotiate project scopes and fees, ensure timely billing and payments, and manage change orders.
- Lead project staff, including design engineers and CAD operators, while mentoring junior team members on essential engineering processes and techniques.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for land development design, with expertise in grading, drainage, streets, sewers, storm drains, and utilities.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
- Expertise in preparing grading plans, utility plans, site plans, and preliminary cost estimates.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to representing the company positively both internally and externally.
- Ability to apply civil engineering principles in a client-focused business context.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a significant role, showcasing technical proficiency, project management capabilities, and strong staff interaction.

Compensation And Benefits
- Salary range for this position is \(90,000 - \)130,000 annually.
