Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our distinguished team in the Loveland, CO office. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Director on marketing initiatives and client engagement.
- Define design criteria and supervise the efficient development of designs and plans.
- Address design challenges through engineering calculations and adherence to established design standards.
- Implement project controls to ensure the accuracy and quality of all engineering plans.
- Oversee technical quality, project profitability, schedule compliance, and effective communication with clients.
- Lead plan processing efforts with governmental agencies.
- Maintain daily interactions with clients to develop proposals, negotiate project scopes and fees, ensure timely billing and payments, and manage change orders.
- Supervise project staff, including design engineers and CAD operators, while mentoring junior engineers in fundamental engineering practices and techniques.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for land development design, including grading, drainage, streets, sewers, storm drains, and utilities.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Expertise in preparing grading plans, utility plans, site plans, and preliminary cost estimates.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to representing the company positively both internally and externally.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is a prerequisite.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a responsible engineering role, showcasing project management and technical proficiency.
