Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Knowledge and Practice team to formulate educational content and strategies that establish our organization as a leader in the field, thus enhancing professional development opportunities for attendees.
- Oversee the Call for Presentations process, including website management, submission guidelines, and peer reviewer engagement.
- Facilitate the review process for proposals, ensuring effective communication with both external reviewers and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate meeting space for educational sessions and manage logistics for audio-visual equipment and other essential services.
- Partner with the Marketing team to promote the conference program and develop speaker resources.
- Manage all aspects of small meeting logistics including contract negotiations, housing management, and on-site coordination.
- Demonstrated expertise in educational programming and speaker management.
- Proven experience in strategic meeting and event planning.
- Proficiency in managing complex budgets effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with strategic problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, advanced Excel), SharePoint, OneDrive, and Smartsheet.
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in meetings management, including VIP events and conventions.
- Track record of building and cultivating collaborative team environments through mentoring and recognition of team achievements.
