Key Responsibilities
- Engage in essential functions and assist with roadway and airport projects.
- Utilize pressure washing techniques to clean joints post-sawing operations.
- Manually extract old sealant from joints, recognizing its significance for the overall quality of the final product.
- Operate a jackhammer for concrete removal in preparation for repairs and accurately mix and pour materials to maintain quality standards.
- Participate in the setup of work zones and flagging under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Comply with safety standards and actively participate in safety meetings.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended durations; capable of using hands for various tasks; able to bend and lift/move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort in outdoor work across diverse weather conditions and environments, including exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and loud noises.
- Proficiency in the safe and effective use of tools and equipment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to follow directions and collaborate efficiently.
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
- Willingness to travel out of state as necessary.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical examination.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, along with random tests to maintain valid driver status.
