Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support to our valued donors regarding dining reservations, ticketing, and additional inquiries during the donor ticket request periods (April-June) and throughout the summer.
- Assist in meticulously tracking the Donor Concierge ticket and dining reservation waitlist for sold-out events.
- Manage a substantial volume of phone calls and email communications from current and prospective donors during peak ticket request times (April-June) and over the summer, which may exceed 75 interactions daily per team member.
- Acquire proficiency in our software platforms to facilitate core functions such as ticket reservations, sales, exchanges, dining requests, processing donations, and waitlist tracking.
- Uphold the esteemed reputation of the Donor Concierge Service by representing it with professionalism and respect, ensuring optimal service for our generous donors.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Donor Relations and Operations, alongside the Manager of the Annual Fund Campaign, to organize various VIP events, which includes RSVP tracking, invitation design, assembling materials, and executing event logistics.
- Support donor research initiatives led by the Manager of Donor Relations and Operations to enhance the number of annual contributors.
- Utilize ticketing system data to analyze donor benefits usage for concerts with high attendance.
- Maintain and update donor records within our CRM system to ensure accurate contact information.
- Assist the box office during public sales days by helping patrons via phone.
- Aid in covering concert duties and participate in special projects as assigned, including providing administrative support for the Development department and assisting at various events such as season previews, donor receptions, annual benefits, and gala events.
- Outstanding customer service, communication, and interpersonal capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively and manage concurrent projects.
- Quick adaptability to various technology platforms.
- Proficient problem-solving skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Comfort in engaging with high-level donors face-to-face.
- Exceptional listening abilities and attention to detail.
- Capacity to work collaboratively across departments as well as independently.
- Proficiency in G-Suite applications.
- Familiarity with databases; experience with CRM systems is advantageous but not essential.
- Competence in Zoom Meetings and similar video conferencing applications.
- A genuine passion for our mission, specifically regarding music and music education.
- Enrollment in college or higher education preferred.
- Prior experience in customer service or fundraising roles is desirable.

- This position offers an hourly wage.
- The internship is full-time, commencing in January and concluding at the end of the season in late August.
- Availability for evenings and weekends outdoors (40 hours per week) during the summer season is required.
- This role allows for partial remote work; however, in-person attendance at the office is necessary, particularly on concert days.
