Position Overview

We are currently seeking a People Experience & Programs Intern to join our vibrant team! In this impactful role, you will contribute significantly to enhancing our workplace culture through initiatives designed to cultivate connection, engagement, and belonging among our employees. Your responsibilities will encompass content creation, community management, program support, and onboarding facilitation, all aimed at ensuring an enriching employee experience. This opportunity is ideal for enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for people, communication, and culture, and who possess strong organizational skills to create meaningful experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in the development and scheduling of captivating content for both internal and external platforms, focusing on internal campaigns and employer branding efforts.
  • Engage with the community by monitoring and responding to third-party reviews and candidate inquiries.
  • Partner with team members to spotlight company events, employee achievements, and cultural initiatives.
  • Maintain and document necessary Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for our programs.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics for various People Programs, including the Mentorship Program and Business Acumen Training.
  • Support the Hippo Buddy program logistics to ensure a seamless experience for new hires.
  • Collect feedback to improve program effectiveness and participant satisfaction.
  • Organize and facilitate new hire orientation sessions, ensuring materials are engaging and up-to-date.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage with employees at all levels.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program (preferably in Communications, Organizational Development, Sociology, or Marketing).
  • Previous experience in communications, social media, or people programs is advantageous but not mandatory.
