Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the comprehensive management of large-scale events, focusing on increasing attendance and securing exhibitor participation.
- Negotiate contracts with venues and vendors to ensure optimal arrangements for events.
- Coordinate all logistical components of events, including the design of tradeshow floors, selection of speakers, and management of food and beverage services.
- Supervise vendor relationships and attendee registration processes to ensure seamless event execution.
- Manage departmental budgets, approving expenditures while ensuring fiscal responsibility.
- Drive the growth of our chapter network by chartering new regional chapters and expanding college chapter engagement.
- Serve as the primary liaison between headquarters and chapters, providing ongoing updates and resources.
- Monitor chapter compliance with organizational policies and report on performance metrics.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships within the hunting community.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Knowledge of event marketing strategies across various platforms including print and digital.
- Familiarity with legislative processes relevant to hunting rights advocacy.
- A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of demonstrated experience in event planning or chapter services, preferably within the outdoor or hunting sectors.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently for events and chapter support.
