Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of large-scale and/or numerous smaller projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking.
- Create and maintain construction schedules, effectively assigning personnel and resources.
- Ensure adherence to all local laws, codes, and permitting mandates.
- Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols.
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide training, and mentor project foremen and technicians.
- Facilitate clear communication with clients, executives, subcontractors, and code enforcement officials.
- Oversee subcontractor management according to contract stipulations.
- Maintain organized and safe worksites, following recycling and waste disposal regulations.
- Identify specialized equipment needs and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Verify the quality of work to meet or exceed client expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of all materials utilized and remaining.
- Ensure timely documentation and deliverables.
- Arrange for storage of project materials and equipment.
- Strong project management and estimating capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, etc.).
- Extensive knowledge of national electrical codes.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage several projects concurrently with efficiency.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80%).
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- PMP certification (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the electrical field.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
- OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain).
