Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of one major project or several smaller projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and superior quality standards.
- Inspire and mentor teams, guiding Project Supervisors, Foremen, and Technicians to achieve excellence in performance and workplace culture.
- Develop, implement, and monitor construction schedules, effectively allocating resources and personnel.
- Offer guidance on local regulations, including mechanical codes, permitting, and landfills.
- Uphold rigorous safety standards to ensure a secure and efficient working environment.
- Manage multiple energy efficiency projects simultaneously with precision.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide necessary training and mentorship to team members.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication with clients, executives, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Supervise subcontractors in line with contractual obligations.
- Ensure compliance with local ordinances by maintaining clean and safe work sites.
- Organize the procurement and management of materials and equipment efficiently.
- Guarantee the delivery of high-quality workmanship that exceeds customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout project phases.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, etc.).
- Comprehensive understanding of national electrical codes.
- Exceptional leadership and communication capabilities.
- Proven ability to evaluate and nurture team members.
- Excellent project planning and management skills.
- Strong organizational abilities to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- High school diploma or GED (mandatory).
- PMP certification (preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of pertinent electrical project management and estimating experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical work.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80%) for extended periods.
- OSHA 30 certification (or readiness to obtain it).
