Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive medical oversight and medication management for adolescents in residential care.
- Maintain 24⁄7 on-call availability to provide urgent medical support and guidance.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team comprising therapists, counselors, and case managers.
- Develop and implement best practices to ensure superior quality of care in medical services for young patients.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements and research in adolescent mental health and substance use treatment.
- Hold an MD or DO degree, with successful completion of residency in emergency medicine or primary care and board certification.
- Possess 3-5 years of clinical experience working with adolescents dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.
- Exhibit strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.
- Demonstrate a genuine commitment to the welfare of young individuals, coupled with compassion and empathy.
- Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
- MD or DO degree is required.
- Must have completed an emergency medicine or primary care residency.
- Board certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience in adolescent mental health settings.
