Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to every member, creating positive and memorable experiences.
- Process new loan applications with precision, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, guidelines, and internal policies.
- Engage in consultative phone selling, prospecting, and member service, utilizing various lead sources to cultivate your pipeline.
- Employ effective follow-up strategies to enhance sales success and maintain strong relationships.
- Utilize a consultative approach by asking insightful questions to identify member needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Build and nurture relationships with external referral sources such as real estate agents, builders, and developers to drive new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with branch teams to strengthen relationships and facilitate mortgage loan growth.
- Efficiently manage your pipeline to ensure timely follow-up and achieve conditional approvals within established timeframes.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with applicants, keeping them informed throughout the loan process.
- A sincere desire to assist members in realizing their homeownership goals.
- A proactive and results-driven mindset, coupled with strong organizational abilities to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with members.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other relevant software tools.
- Familiarity with secondary mortgage market underwriting, pricing, operations, and consumer lending regulations.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One of the following:
- 1 year of mortgage origination experience.
- 2 years of mortgage banking or relevant lending experience in other roles.
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, or Finance.
- 3 years of analytical finance experience.
- NMLS licensure is highly preferred.
